The Homestead Restaurant was on MAX TV, but unfortunately a couple of months too late for us:

After 1 1/2 years of hard work, we need a little break now.
The restaurant will be closed from 09/19/2015 until 10/05/2015 for some recovery vacation.
We will be happy to see you again from 10/06/2015 9am.

Because we have a film crew in our Restaurant for a few days and it's Canada Day next week:
"The Homestead" will be closed on Monday 06/29, Tuesday 06/30 and Wednesday 07/01/2015!

Our Easter Weekend Schedule:
Closed on Good-Friday April 3rd
Closed on Saturday April 4th
Closed on Sunday April 5th
Back open on Monday April 6th from 7am
After Easter, we will be open on Mondays from 7am!

Not open on Sundays anymore:
As it did not work out, only a few guests found their way to the restaurant on Sundays, we will be closed on Sundays again. Maybe we can give it another tray in summertime...

New sign at Railway Ave.:
As you might have seen already, since today we have a new sign up between Railway Avenue and Highway 7. We hope that more travellers from HW 7 will stop in at our restaurant. We still have people coming in, telling us that they did not realize the restaurant is open again and under new management...
Hopefully the sign will not be blown away or get stolen, as Deborah can´t hold it for the rest of her life. ;-)

Valentines Dinner with a snowstorm!
That was a very special Valentines Day 2015. It started with a snowstorm and the Homestead team was afraid, that nobody will be able to make it to the restaurant. Finally it was only three couples who could not leave their yards, the rest was able to come in and The Homestead was a very busy place again!
Our team did a great job and all our patrons where amazed about the nice decoration and the extremely delicious food (That´s what the customers told us!).

Starting February 1st, we will be open on Sundays from 9AM to 3PM, to see how it works out for us and our clients.
(We will only try this until the end of February, but at the moment it does not look like we will stay open on Sundays in the futrure, as only a few customers came in the past 5 Sundays...)
